IN MEMORIAM
Our dear colleague, art historian Marijana Kovacevic, Ph. D. (1977), assistant professor at the Department of Art History of the University of Zadar passed away following lingering illness.
The research and scholarly work of Marijana Kovacevic was dedicated to medieval art, especially to the Zadar medieval goldsmiths. She published results of her dedicated research in her doctoral dissertation Goldsmiths’ Work of Zadar in the 14th Century as well as in the numerous articles. We will remember her great character, immense passion for her work and her friendship.
Second International Conference of Doctoral Students
We are pleased to announce a call for papers for Second International Conference of Doctoral Students that will be held in Split, 17th-19th September 2015.
The theme of conference is Crossroads: East and West (Cultural contacts, transfers and interchanges between East and West in the Mediterranean).

A very successfull interdisciplinary conference for doctoral and post-doctoral students was held in Ljubljana
A very successfull interdisciplinary conference for doctoral and post-doctoral students was held in Ljubljana from 18th to 20th September titled „Decline-Metamorphosis-Rebirth“.
In the impeccably organized conference by the Department of Art History of the Faculty of Humanities in Ljubljana, young scholars presented their interesting and well prepared contributions, initiated challenging discussions and inaugurated a valuable project.
We look forward to the publication of the papers and the next conference!
